We are not a bank, e-money institution, payment institution, broker or licensed adviser. We do not hold or transfer client money, we do not issue accounts, and we do not decide who is approved. Every account is opened directly with the provider under its own terms.

3.Not every provider is a bank

Several providers we list are e-money or payment institutions rather than licensed banks. Money held with them is safeguarded at partner institutions rather than covered by a deposit guarantee scheme, so the protection differs from a bank deposit. Each listing states the licence status we have on record, and you should verify it with the relevant regulator before you apply.

4.Figures are indicative

Fees, minimum balances, opening costs, currency lists, approval odds and timelines change often and vary by applicant profile, industry and residency. We check them periodically and state when they were last reviewed. Treat every figure as indicative and confirm it with the provider.

5.No guarantee of approval

A match, ranking or shortlist is a suggestion, not an offer and not a pre-approval. Providers apply their own risk appetite, KYC and source-of-funds checks, and they can decline or close an application without giving a reason.

6.How we are paid

Some provider links are affiliate or referral links. Where we have such an arrangement, the provider may pay us a fee if you open or are approved for an account. It never costs you more than applying directly, and we are not told the outcome of your application unless you tell us.

Separately, some slots on the site are paid placements, for example the featured partner bar and the bank of the month. Those are labelled.
